Praveen Raju

Praveen Raju serves as the Nathan Gordon Chair and Director of Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and is also the Director of the Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Program. Since February 2025, Praveen Raju has held the position of Associate Professor (with tenure) in the Department of Neurosciences at UC San Diego Health. Previous roles include Co-Director of the Children’s Brain and Spinal Tumor Center and various faculty positions at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Praveen Raju's academic credentials include an MD and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a BA in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
