Sara McPhilmy

Sara McPhilmy is a seasoned professional in philanthropy and event management, currently serving as the Director of Philanthropy - Corporate and Community Development at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego since July 2022. With a strong background at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia spanning from September 2015 to July 2022, Sara held several roles including Concierge Services, Annual Giving Officer, and Event Fundraising Coordinator. Prior experience includes working with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, American Diabetes Association, and Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, where Sara managed fundraising events, coordinated donor relations, and enriched the lives of children through various programs. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Maryland and has participated in multiple internship and volunteer roles that have enhanced expertise in event planning and fundraising initiatives.
