Shawn Sidhu serves as the Training Director and Professor for the UCSD Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program and is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, both positions held since July 2020. Additionally, Shawn holds roles as Associate Medical Director, Medical Co-Director, and Medical Director of Substance Use Programming at Vista Hill, and as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Southern Indian Health Council, Inc. from July 2021 to July 2025. Previously, Shawn was the Training Director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program at the University of New Mexico and served as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center between September 2013 and July 2020. Educational qualifications include a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, a General Psychiatry Residency from Northwestern University, an MD from Wright State University, and a BS in Biology from The Ohio State University.
