Carlos Diaz is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in web services and application development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine since October 2017, Carlos previously held roles at Softtek as a Senior Python Developer and at Flycell, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Carlos began a career in IT at Tim We, where responsibilities included project planning and implementation of SMS-based applications using Java. Earlier experience includes serving as the Head of Quality Control for Databases at SEMARNAT. Carlos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computación from UAM Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Universidad Politécnica del Estado de Morelos.
