Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine
Christian Hansen is an experienced data manager and analyst with a strong background in clinical genomics and public health research. Currently serving as the Data Manager at Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine since March 2019, Christian coordinates data management activities, establishes data governance policies, and manages data flows with various stakeholders. Christian has also held a long-term position at the Naval Health Research Center as a Senior Data Manager/Analyst since July 2001, specializing in large datasets related to infectious diseases and healthcare utilization for Active Duty US Department of Defense personnel. Previous roles include Statistician at VA CESaMH and Data Analyst at the Naval Health Research Center, alongside managing acoustic monitoring data at the Hubbs Sea World Research Institute. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC San Diego and ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Statistics at San Diego State University.
