Joe Schmidt

Joe Schmidt has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Joe started their career at RAE Corporation in 2007 as a Project Engineer, managing various projects until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Engineering Manager, overseeing the design of applied products. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Engineering Manager for Heat Transfer Products.

In 2016, Joe joined Trane as a Product Design Engineer, specializing in chiller refrigeration systems. Their responsibilities included providing mechanical and electrical design input, conducting simulations, managing qualification projects, and collaborating with software developers for integration purposes.

Joe returned to RAE Corporation in 2019 as a Principal Engineer, primarily focusing on developing control algorithms and software for large commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Their expertise contributed to new product design and operational improvements.

Joe Schmidt attended the University of Oklahoma from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
