Rafael Alcalá is an experienced architectural designer and BIM manager, currently employed at Rafael Vinoly Architects since July 2012. Prior to this role, Rafael worked as a BIM designer at Lee, Burkhart, Liu, Inc. from August 2010 to July 2012, and as a digital artist for independent contracting from November 2008 to July 2012. Additionally, Rafael served as a visualization specialist and designer at HKS from April 2006 to November 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Intermedia/Multimedia and a Bachelor of Architecture, both obtained from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with the master's degree earned from 2001 to 2004 and the bachelor's degree from 1993 to 1998.
