Jasmit Kaur Kang

Deputy Head Of Primary , Key Stage 2 at Raffles International School

Jasmit Kaur Kang has a strong background in education, with experience in various leadership roles. Jasmit Kaur started their career at Waterloo Primary in 1999 as the Head of Year 6, where they worked until 2004. From 2005 to 2010, they served as a Year 4 teacher and head of year at green meadow Primary in Birmingham. In 2010, they joined George Dixon Primary as a TLR 2 Leader of Diversity, Maths Leader, KS1 Co-ordinator, and SLT Member until 2013. Since 2014, Jasmit has been working at Raffles International School as the Deputy Head of Primary and Key Stage 2.

Jasmit Kaur Kang obtained their Bachelor of Education degree with a focus on History from Liverpool Hope University, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Archbishop Blanch C of E School from 1988 to 1995, achieving 3 A levels and 11 GCSEs. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Management at the University of Nottingham, from 2016 to 2018, specializing in the field of Education.
