Mario Kataoka is a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in web development and user experience optimization. Currently at Raft since June 2021, Mario previously held roles as a Front-End Developer at Daydot and House of Kaizen, contributing to prominent clients like the Wall Street Journal and McAfee Antivirus through advanced A/B testing strategies. Early in the career, Mario gained experience as a Junior Front-End Developer at LinkNow Media and co-owned a tutoring company, alongside academic roles at McGill University as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Raft's solution will use artificial intelligence to understand, triage and act on incoming shipment data, saving HBI’s operators countless hours chasing information, manually keying into systems and reconciling against downstream systems. The platform’s real-time, continuous processing will enable HBI operators to handle shipments more quicklyand with more certainty for their customers.Raft was established in October 2017 by James Coombes and Nisarg Mehta in England, United Kingdom.
