Roee Elkoubi has a varied and impressive work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Customer Support Engineer at Raft Technologies, where they ensure and maintains the health of a network system, identifies and triages outages while verifying service impact on users, and responds to events and various technical problems in real-time. From 2019-2022, they worked at JCC Chicago as a Supervisor for CAMP CHI, where they collaborated with fellow supervisors, counselors and camp directors to foster skill development in activities for campers and ensured the safety and efficacy of all lakefront programming. In 2019, they worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel as a SEC. In 2018, they worked at The Jewish Agency for Israel as a JAFI emissary at Chicago. From 2015-2018, they worked in the Israeli Navy, where they held various roles including Sergeant First Class, Commander of the Commanders Course, Responsible for Training Development of the Israeli Navy, Head of the Combatant of Training Section, and Fighter in the Israeli Navy. In their role as Head of the Combatant of Training Section, they were responsible for training 100 naval fighters in terms of military preparedness and personal success, onboarding solders to the military experience, providing resources for support, developing and supervising simulation of real life field experience, and insuring both mental and physical and emotional health and well being of individual solders and the whole unit.
Roee Elkoubi is currently enrolled at Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science. Roee also holds an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate (Additional Specialties) obtained in June 2018, and a COVID-19 Contact Tracing certification from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.
