Joshua James

Joshua James has an extensive work experience, with their most recent position being a Senior Software Engineer at Raft since April 2023. Before that, they worked at MITRE from July 2021 to May 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they held various roles at MITRE, starting as a Software Engineer from August 2018 to January 2020, followed by Software Engineer Co-op positions from January 2017 to August 2018 and from May 2016 to December 2016.

Before their career in software engineering, Joshua worked as a Kitchen Manager / Bar Manager at THE BLARNEY STONE PUB INC from April 2009 to March 2015. Joshua also worked as an Assistant Manager at Small Plates from September 2013 to March 2014, as a Bartender / Waiter at Empire Brewing Company from March 2012 to September 2013, and as a Manager at The Blarney Stone from January 2011 to March 2012.

Earlier in their career, Joshua served as an Executive Chef at St. Pius II from November 2009 to February 2011, as a Restaurant Supervisor at The Renaissance Syracuse Hotel from December 2008 to March 2009, and as a Kitchen Supervisor at The Marx Hotel from April 2006 to April 2007.

Joshua James completed their education at two different institutions. From 2002 to 2014, they attended Onondaga Community College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science. Then, from 2015 to 2018, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
