Brendan Gannon

Brendan Gannon has a diverse work experience history. Brendan started their career in 2011 as a Long Term Substitute Teacher in the Marlington Local School District. Later, they joined the Jackson Local School District as a 7th Grade Language Arts Teacher, where they implemented differentiated lesson plans and collaborated with various stakeholders. Brendan also coached Boys Junior Varsity Soccer during this time. In 2012, they took on the role of Director of Youth Soccer Academy at Canton Akron Soccer Club, where they managed an advertising campaign and supervised training sessions.

Brendan's marketing journey began in 2016 when they joined Ragan Communications and PR Daily. Brendan started as a Marketing Intern and gradually progressed to various roles, including Marketing & Editorial Coordinator, Marketing Manager, and currently, as Senior Marketing Manager for Awards Programs.

Brendan Gannon attended The University of Akron from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Adolescent Young Adult Integrated Language Arts as well as a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature. In July 2012, Brendan also obtained a certification in Adolescence to Young Adult (7-12) Integrated Language Arts from the State of Ohio Department of Education.
