Brent Schmitt

Brent Schmitt, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the Quality Control Manager at Ragle Inc since August 2022. Previously, Brent held the position of City Engineer for the City of Evansville-Vanderburgh County from April 2014 to August 2022, where responsibilities included preparing design work and construction contracts for public infrastructure improvements. Earlier in Brent's career, roles at the Indiana Department of Transportation included District Testing Engineer, responsible for the testing of materials used in road and bridge construction, and Traffic Investigations Engineer, focusing on traffic control devices and accident analysis. Brent earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Evansville after studying at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
