William Moyne

William Moyne is an accomplished roboticist currently engaged at The AI Institute, focused on addressing core challenges in robotics and AI. Previously, as Principal Systems Engineer at 6 River Systems, William developed an AI warehouse object tracking prototype and created a safety-certified bootloader for autonomous mobile robots, showcasing significant expertise in system design and embedded software. In earlier roles at Shell, William was Head of Analytics and Investment Economics, and Deputy Head of Engineering, contributing to innovative clean energy projects and technology deployment. William's career also includes notable positions at Draper, CardScan, mimio, and Virtual Ink, where foundational work in hardware engineering and product development was demonstrated. William holds a PhD and MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSEEE from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
