Danijel Laklija

Danijel Laklija is an experienced professional in the field of credit risk and data governance, currently serving as the Head of Group Data Governance and Product Owner for Retail Risk Modelling Centralisation at Raiffeisen Bank International AG since January 2018. Previously, Danijel held roles at Erste Group as the Senior Credit Risk Modelling & Methodology Manager and Senior Credit Risk Validation Specialist, focusing on group validation of credit risk models. Danijel's earlier experience includes work as a Quantitative Credit Risk Controller at Hypo Group Alpe Adria AG and as a junior expert associate at Fina, where responsibilities encompassed developing and validating credit rating models. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Financial and Business Mathematics and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Zagreb.
