Rainer Bunz

Rainer Bunz is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Head of FX & Banknotes at Raiffeisen Bank International AG since July 2015. Prior to this role, Rainer led a team of FX Option and FX Spot traders as Head of FX Trading at DZ BANK AG from April 2007 to June 2015, overseeing portfolio positioning, risk management, and profitability in the FX Spot & FX Option business. Rainer began a career in finance at WGZ-Bank, serving as an FX Options Trader and an Equity Derivatives Trader from October 2000 to March 2007. Rainer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business School Banking from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), earned between September 1997 and September 2020.
