Shkelqim Meqa

Shkelqim Meqa's work experience includes various roles in the finance and banking sectors. Shkelqim currently serves as the Head of IT & Data at Raiffeisen Bank Kosova, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Department for Data and Analytics at the same company from March 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining Raiffeisen Bank Kosova, Meqa worked at Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo for nearly two decades. Their roles at the bank included Business Intelligence, MIS & Data Governance Manager from April 2017 to March 2021, Manager of Business Intelligence and MIS from January 2009 to March 2017, Manager of Reporting and Information System from November 2007 to December 2008, Manager of DataWarehouse from January 2006 to October 2007, and Senior System Financial Analyst from January 2003 to December 2005.

Meqa's early work experience includes roles at ICRC, where they served as a Finance Manager/Senior Accountant from February 2001 to December 2002 and as a Human Resources Senior Officer from September 1999 to January 2001.

Shkelqim Meqa attended the University of Prishtina, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Management, and Informatics.

In terms of additional certifications, Shkelqim Meqa has received several agile leadership and project management certifications. In May 2021, they obtained the Certified Agile Leadership for Teams (CAL-T) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Prior to that, in March 2021, they obtained the Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E) and the Certified Agile Leadership for Organizations (CAL-O) certifications, also from the Scrum Alliance. In February 2021, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance. In June 2020, they became a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) through SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.

Furthermore, Shkelqim Meqa received the Certified Kanban Expert certification from the International Scrum Institute™ in May 2020. Shkelqim also acquired the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) and the Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) certifications from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in May 2020. Lastly, Shkelqim Meqa obtained the SCRUMstudy Agile Master Certified (SAMC) certification in September 2020, also from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
