Gabor Liener has a strong work experience in the banking and financial sector. Gabor started their career as a Money Market & Derivative Dealer at K&H Csoport in 1994. Gabor later joined Raiffeisen Bank Hungary, where they held various roles including Head of Asset and Liability Management, Head of Treasury, Head of Capital Markets, and Head of Financial Institutions & Custody. In these positions, they were responsible for managing liquidity, interest rate risk, trading and sales operations, client relationship management, and business strategy development. Additionally, they served as Chairman of The Committee for Professionalism at ACI Hungary, an official organization representing Hungarian commercial banks in the financial markets.

Gabor Liener completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Kereskedelmi és Gazdasági Főiskola, Szolnok from 1995-1998. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, General from The University of Manchester, which they completed from 2002-2006.
