Tamas Kovacs

Tamas Kovacs has over 27 years of work experience in the banking and legal field. Tamas is currently working at Raiffeisen Bank Hungary as the Senior Legal Counsel and Assigned Head of Corporate Legal Department. In addition, they briefly served as a Team Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Tamas worked at Sopron Bank Burgenland for seven years as a Senior Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer. Tamas also gained experience at Erste Bank Hungary, Erste Group, Commerzbank (Budapest) Zrt., Government Debt Management Agency, and National Bank of Hungary in various legal roles, including Product Developer, Legal Advisor, and Lawyer.

Tamas Kovacs began their education in 1988 at the ELTE Law Faculty, where they studied Law until 1993. Tamas then attended the College for Foreign Trade from 1993 to 1995, focusing on economics. In 2016, Tamas pursued further education at the Hungarian Banking Association, where they obtained a degree in Compliance, specializing in compliance. Most recently, in 2018, they enrolled in a program at CAMS for Transaction Monitoring, although no degree was specified.
