Karel Vlasak

Karel Vlasak has over two decades of experience in finance, currently serving as the Head of Department for Structured Finance and Syndications at Raiffeisenbank CZ since August 2000. In this role, Karel leads a team responsible for the origination, structuring, and processing of loan transactions in structured finance, project finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, and syndications. Prior to this position, Karel worked in structured and export finance at Bank Austria Creditanstalt CZ a.s. from 1997 to 2000, and served as a consultant at Barents Group LLC, KPMG Czech Republic from 1993 to 1997. Karel holds a Master's degree in Economics and Management in Mechanical Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague and has also studied at the University of Amsterdam. Karel completed secondary education at Gymnázium Jana Nerudy.
