Michal Polednak

Michal Polednak is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in corporate development, trade and export finance, and strategic initiatives, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Development at Raiffeisenbank Česká republika since June 2018. Michal oversees corporate lending, deposits, and cash management products, focuses on enhancing customer relationships through data-driven insights, and leads the strategic direction of the corporate banking business. Prior experience includes business development and origination roles at Česká spořitelna, where Michal contributed to corporate and investment banking growth and developed digital banking strategies. Michal began a career in M&A advisory at Erste Group, facilitating transactions in Central and Eastern Europe. Educational credentials include an MBA from Hult International Business School and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from SUNY Empire State College.
