Crista Patterson

Senior Financial Analyst at Railinc Corp.

Crista Patterson has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of several years. Crista began their career as an intern at the European-American Center for International Education in 2002. After that, they worked as a contractor for staffing agencies from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they joined GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare as a Marketing Team Administrator contractor before transitioning to roles as a Brand Spend Analyst and an Accounting Analyst. During their time at GlaxoSmithKline, they worked closely with various teams, including Marketing Leadership, Business Development, and Sales Finance, to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. Crista also played a significant role in reconciling off-invoice coding issues and improving employment cost forecast accuracy.

In 2008, Crista briefly worked as an Agency Finance Coordinator at Brunner. Crista then joined Merkle in 2016 as a Senior Business Analyst, where they focused on client finance for the Warner Bros. Digital Media account. Their responsibilities included revenue recognition, billing, and reconciliation of vendor invoicing.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst-Consultant for Robert Half, where they managed key performance indicators (KPIs) development, analysis, and presentation at FedEx Ground, along with providing billing process documentation for negotiated fee agreements.

In 2019, Crista joined Wolfspeed as a Senior Financial Analyst, responsible for critical monthly accounting estimates of global revenue reserves. Crista also developed customer pricing reserve rate models and achieved high forecast accuracy. Crista then transitioned to the role of Senior FP&A Analyst, where they acted as a finance partner for the Global Sales and Marketing Leadership team.

Crista's most recent work experience is with Railinc Corp., where they currently hold the position of Senior Financial Analyst. As of 2023, they are responsible for financial analysis and reporting tasks.

Throughout their career, Crista has consistently demonstrated strong financial analysis and forecasting skills, contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked with.

Crista Patterson has obtained a Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University, with a major in French and a minor in Business Administration. Additionally, they have participated in a study abroad semester at the Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier 3 in France, during their time at the University of Minnesota.
