James McCall has a strong background in financial analysis and accounting. James most recently worked at Railinc Corp. as a Senior Budget & Financial Analyst. Prior to that, they were employed at Syngenta for nearly a decade, where they served as a Business Controller in the biotechnology division. In this role, they were responsible for managing budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis. Before Syngenta, James worked as a Financial Analyst at bioMérieux, where they developed a standardized capital budgeting process and calculated various financial metrics. James also has experience as a Cost Accountant at Organon Teknika and an Accountant at Logic Marine Corporation. James began their career as an Accountant at Wessel & Company.
James McCall obtained a BA in Business Econ/Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued an MSM (Master of Science in Management) degree from the North Carolina State University - College of Management, completing it between 1999 and 2001. It's important to note that the MSM degree was later renamed to MBA in April 2002.
In addition to their formal education, James McCall has obtained several certifications. James obtained a Data Analysis Fundamentals Certificate from AICPA in September 2019, followed by an Application of Data Analysis Essentials Certificate in February 2020. In May 2020, they acquired a Data Analytics Modeling Certificate, and most recently, in September 2021, they obtained a Forecasting and Predictive Analytics Certificate, both from AICPA.
