Shawn Petway has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Shawn started their career in 1993 as a Maintenance Customer Support Representative at IBM. Shawn then moved on to MCI Telecommunications in 1995 as a Technical Support Specialist II. In the same year, they joined IBM again, this time as an Advisory Business Partner Support Representative. Shawn continued to work at IBM in various roles including Team Leader in U.S. Electronic Support and Program Manager for Americas Geography Representative. In 2002, Shawn joined Lenovo International & IBM as a Program Manager - Team Leader. Finally, in 2008, Shawn joined Railinc Corp. where they held positions such as Product Support Specialist, Business Analyst II, and Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner. In their roles at Railinc Corp., Shawn was responsible for driving IT projects, supporting daily operations, analyzing data usage, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
Shawn Petway attended East Carolina University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
