Laurent Szyster has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2020, they joined Railnova as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Anubex as an Architect from 2016 to 2020. From 2014 to 2016, Laurent was the Managing Director at Q-Survey SPRL. Laurent worked as a Contrôleur de Gestion at ADR s.a. from 2009 to 2013. In 2008, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Collibra NV and was also a Site Manager at ORICO s.a. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Developer at RealDolmen, and in 2006, they were an Architect Developer at Certipost | Basware Belgium. Laurent served as the Directeur Administratif & Financier at ADEX sprl from 2003 to 2005. Lastly, they worked as a Free Lance at Q-Survey SPRL from 2001 to 2002, where they were involved in software development, infrastructure support, and training missions for various companies.

Laurent Szyster pursued their education from 1987 to 1994 at Université libre de Bruxelles, where they completed a Master's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics.
