Enda Bloomer

Enda Bloomer has over 20 years of experience in financial and operational roles, beginning in 1999 as Controller for Second Wind Systems, Inc. Enda then became Chief Financial Officer in 2001 and COO/CFO in 2003. In 2014, they joined Vaisala as Global Operations Manager, where they had site management responsibility for Finance, HR, Customer Service and Manufacturing with 3 direct reports and a team of 15. Enda was also part of the initial management team that brought three companies together to form the Vaisala Energy Segment with 130 FTEs and $25m in sales. In 2015, they began consulting as CFO for FloDesign Sonics, TempAlert, and Poly6 Technologies (all of which were later acquired). In 2017, they began consulting as CFO for octoScope (which was later acquired by Spirent). Enda most recently began consulting as CFO for RailPod Inc. in 2018.

Enda Bloomer obtained a BA(Hons) in Business Management from Ulster University between 1991 and 1995. Enda then went on to earn an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Finance from the same university in 1995-1996. In 1996-1997, they completed a Diploma in Strategic Marketing & Planning from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2012, they obtained a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
