Dan Thompson

Dan Thompson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the transportation and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Associate Vice President and Project Manager at RailPros since February 2018, Dan previously held the position of Director at Union Pacific Railroad from September 2007 to February 2018. Dan's foundational experience includes military service in the United States Army as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer from May 2000 to August 2007. Dan earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and further enhanced professional skills through continuing education at UC Davis from 2019 to 2021.
