Akin Olaolu

Akin Olaolu has been working in the software engineering field since 2007. Akin began their career at Mirant as a Programmer, where they were responsible for creating web applications using Java and JEE based technologies, designing business process workflows, coding and integrating custom TeamWorks artefacts, and creating and maintaining Actuate Reports. In 2011, they joined WarnerMedia as a Technical Lead Engineer, where they redesigned legacy software platforms to micro-services running on AWS cloud, participated in platform design considerations, implemented process monitoring tools, and redesigned and led implementation of game scoring simulation platforms. Akin was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In 2021, Akin joined Ware2Go as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2022 they began working at Railroad19 in the same role.

Akin Olaolu obtained a MSc in Computer Science from Georgia State University between 2007 and 2011. In September 2020, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
