Janiece Lorey

Human Factors Engineer at Railspire

Janiece Lorey has worked in the aerospace industry for the past 15 years. In 2022, they began working as a Human Factors Engineer at Railspire. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Specialist II at Gulfstream Aerospace from 2017 to 2022. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Honda Aircraft Company, where they held two roles: Engineer, Interiors & Human Factors Engineering and Certification Engineer. From 2006 to 2010, they were a Systems Engineer, Preliminary Design at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. In their role at Honda Aircraft Company, Janiece was responsible for managing the transport, setup, and presentation of an aircraft mockup at several national and international business aviation shows. Additionally, they developed and led the Human Factors program for the company. At Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Janiece supported detail design efforts for the S-76D mechanical flight controls system and published technical documents on several aircrafts.

Janiece Lorey has an extensive education history. Janiece obtained their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Haven in 2009. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Astronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) between 2002 and 2006. In addition, they have a certification in Working with Difficult People from LinkedIn, which they obtained in September 2020.
