Kalpesh Vaghani

Kalpesh Vaghani has over 14 years of work experience in technology-related roles. Kalpesh began their career in 2006 as a Db/Web Programmer at Wayne State University where they designed and built personalized E-Health web applications. In 2008, they moved to Datasieve where they worked as a Software Engineer and helped create a social network similar to Instagram. In 2014, Kalpesh joined RailYatri.in as Senior Vice President of Technology. During their time there, they were promoted to VP of Technology, Director of Technology, and Principal Architect. As Principal Architect, they were responsible for developing Proof-of-Concept projects, refactoring and re-architecting existing applications, guiding developers in the design of new software products, reviewing major enhancements, designing internet-scale web/mobile applications and REST APIs, applying test-driven development principles, evaluating new technologies, and utilizing performance/monitoring tools. Kalpesh then moved to Senior Technology Specialist.

Kalpesh Vaghani received their Master's degree in Computer Science from Wayne State University between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a B.E in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel University between 2002 and 2006.
