Shuoyi (Max) Ma

Max Ma has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Shuoyi (Max) is currently working as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Railz, where they are involved in building a financial data network. Prior to this, Max served as the CTO & Co-Founder of Hi Neighbor from 2021 to 2022. Shuoyi (Max) also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Perk Labs Inc. from 2019 to 2021.

Before their roles in leadership and development, Max gained experience as a Junior Software Developer at AppNeta in 2018 and 2017, where they implemented React components, optimized code, and implemented new REST APIs. Shuoyi (Max) also worked as a Web Application Developer / System Analyst Intern at TRIUMF, upgrading the Project management system.

Outside of the technology industry, Max was an Amateur boxer at Beijing Sport University from 2008 to 2014.

Shuoyi Ma, also known as Max Ma, pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2011 to 2014, they attended The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, where they focused on science studies. Following this, from 2014 to 2019, they studied at The University of British Columbia to obtain their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
