Thad Stauffer

Thad Stauffer is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in the crop insurance sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Rain and Hail Insurance since April 2023, Stauffer previously held the position of Director of Insurance Strategies at Compeer Financial from July 2017 to April 2023. Prior to that, Stauffer worked as Crop Insurance Product Manager at 1st Farm Credit Services from September 2006 to July 2017, and held various roles at Great American Insurance, including Assistant Claims Manager and Quality Control Manager from 2004 to 2006. Stauffer began the career as an Agent at Heaton Agency from 2002 to 2004 and also served as Regional Crop Insurance Sales Manager at Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc from 2001 to 2002. The career started at Great American Insurance as a Crop Insurance Marketing Representative from 1994 to 2001.
