Arshad Hassan is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and architectural fields, currently serving as TX Lead / DWDM 5G at Rain South Africa since October 2019. Previously, Arshad held the position of Vodacom MS and Regional Implementation Manager at Nokia from May 2017 to October 2019, where responsibilities included managing contractors and planning fibre routes. At Huawei, from July 2015 to October 2019, Arshad focused on FTTH and GPON rollouts as MTN Catapult FTTS / FTTX Manager. Earlier in the career, Arshad served as Wayleave Manager at Enza Construction, managing wayleave applications and liaising with service providers. Arshad has also worked as an Architectural Technologist at Design and Drawing Technology and B.E Architecture. Arshad holds a National Diploma in Architecture from Durban University of Technology.
