Jayson Pyne

Jayson Pyne (MCIPS) currently serves as the Head of Procurement at rain South Africa, focusing on telecommunication infrastructure and services since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jayson held the position of Head of Category for Indirects at Pick n Pay from August 2017 to July 2022, overseeing goods and services not for resale. Jayson also was Group Procurement Manager at Distell from August 2013 to July 2017, responsible for overseeing Group Indirect Spend and Group Marketing Spend. Earlier in the career, Jayson worked at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, L.P. from January 2002 to July 2013, serving as Regional Procurement Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, along with various positions including Category Buyer, Compliance Officer, and Packaging Technologist.
