Sandeep Desai is a Data Scientist at Rain South Africa since December 2018, bringing expertise in data analysis and modeling. Prior to this role, Sandeep served as an Actuarial Analyst at Absa from August 2015 to December 2018, specializing in Short Term Insurance and Wholesale Credit Analytics. Sandeep's career began at Willis Towers Watson, where work focused on Pension and Investment Consulting from January 2012 to July 2015. Academically, Sandeep holds a BSc Hons in Actuarial Science and a BSc in Mathematical Statistics and Actuarial Science, both obtained from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2011 and 2009, respectively.
