Jim Clark

QA Test Engineer at Rainbird Technologies

Jim Clark has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. Jim began their career in 1996 at United Defense as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for Requirements Management functions for the Bradley A3 Fighting Vehicle. Jim then moved to Boeing Satellite Systems in 2002 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed, coded, developed, tested, and supervised development of real-time embedded software as part of the Payload Modulate/Demodulate System Test Equipment (PMDS) team. In 2004, they joined Northrop Grumman as a Senior Software Engineer, where they wrote real-time embedded code in C for the HEO Wideband Data Exploitation Project. Jim then joined BAE Systems in 2005 as a Staff Software Engineer, where they designed and developed simulation software for the Future Combat Systems (FCS) project. From 2009 to 2012, Jim held Senior Software Engineer roles at Hamilton Sundstrand and Qualcomm. In 2014, they joined General Atomics as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were selected to test the Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) System software. Finally, in 2016, Jim joined Rainbird Technologies as a QA Test Engineer.

Jim Clark attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1966 to 1970, where they earned a BA in Math. Jim then attended the University of Southern California from 1980 to 1982, where they earned a MSSM in Systems Management.
