Brett Saternus is an accomplished executive in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Risk at RAINBOW since April 2025. Previously, Brett worked as the Chief Risk Officer at Rhino from 2021 to April 2025, where responsibilities included leading risk, actuarial, underwriting, insurance product, and claims functions. At Canopius Group, from 2014 to 2021, Brett was the Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer, overseeing underwriting and actuarial teams, and aligning resources across various departments. Earlier career experience includes positions as an Actuary at Canopius Group, an Actuarial Senior Consultant at CNA Insurance, and a Senior Analyst at EY. Brett holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
