Mohamed Shamil

Mohamed Shamil is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in senior management roles within various companies. Currently serving as Group Finance Director at Avarna Ventures Pvt Ltd and Rainco Private Limited, as well as Group CFO at Raino Pvt Limited, Mohamed has developed a strong background in finance leadership. Previous positions include AGM Finance at Ace Power - Aitken Spence Group, CFO at Brandix Casualwear Ltd, and Manager roles at Mazars and KPMG, Colombo. Additionally, Mohamed has contributed to academia as a Visiting Lecturer at The Academy of Finance. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and International Business from North Park University and a Fellow Membership in Accounting and Finance from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
