James Murphy

James Murphy started their career as a Designer at Jott Engineering in 2008. James worked collaboratively with domestic and international clients, developing innovative solutions for unique problems. In 2011, they became a Design Engineer at Applied Automation and Engineering, working there until 2012. James then returned to Jott Engineering as a Designer for a brief period from 2012 to 2013. In the same year, James co-founded BAJABOARD International Pty. Ltd. and served as an Inventor & Creator of the BajaBoard, an all-terrain electric skateboard designed initially for off-road use. James continued working on BajaBoard until 2017. From 2018, James became the Co-Founder & Design Engineer of Raine Scooters, where they designed innovative products focused on providing a fun daily travel experience for customers. Currently, James works as the Lead Industrialisation Engineer at XY Sense, starting from May 2022.

James Murphy attended Koonung Secondary College from 2000 to 2005. James then pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology from 2006 to 2008.
