Alfred Chianese

A.J. serves as General Counsel and Director of Operations at Raine. In addition to his responsibility for legal matters at Raine, A.J. helps oversee firm operational matters.

Prior to joining Raine, A.J. was a practicing attorney at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he focused on private equity fund formation, private equity investments, mergers & acquisitions, and general corporate matters, representing a diverse variety of private equity and strategic clients.

A.J. received a B.A. in philosophy and political science from Amherst College, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he was a McKay Scholar.
