Brooks Hansen

Brooks is a Managing Director at Raine and focuses on the firm’s principal investments and advisory assignments in the media, entertainment and content sectors.

While at Raine, Brooks has advised clients on a number of strategic and growth transactions across the entertainment sector, including CJ ENM’s investment into Skydance; the formation of Picturestart; the creation of Viacom’s BET+ streaming service; SoftBank’s investment into Endeavor; the formation of Endeavor China; Tencent and PCCW’s investment into STX Entertainment; and Vine’s controlling stake acquisition of Village Roadshow Entertainment Group.

Prior to joining Raine, Brooks worked in the Investment Banking group at Morgan Stanley as well as the Motion Picture and Television departments at WME.

Brooks received a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University and an M.B.A from The Marshall School of Business at The University of Southern California.
