Naveen Asopa

Naveen is a Managing Director at Raine.

Prior to joining Raine, Naveen worked in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley in India for over a decade. At Morgan Stanley, Naveen worked on various mergers & acquisitions and capital raising transactions for clients across the telecom, media, consumer internet and healthcare sectors, including Vodafone’s combination of its India telecom business with Idea Cellular, MakeMyTrip’s acquisition of ibibo, Dish TV’s acquisition of Videocon d2h, Providence Equity’s investment into Indus Towers, Mylan’s acquisition of Agila Specialties, Cipla’s acquisition of Medpro South Africa, an equity capital raise for Idea Cellular and the IPOs of Hathway Cable and Datacom.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Naveen was at PwC in India, working within its audit and assurance division.

Naveen is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and has a B.Com (Hons.) from Calcutta University.
