Kay McCoy is a seasoned Behavioral Health Therapist with extensive experience in telehealth and school-based behavioral health. Currently serving at Rainelle Medical Center since December 2008 and MDLIVE since March 2022, Kay has transitioned to providing Behavioral Health Care to a general population at Maxwelton Health Center, leveraging over nine years of expertise in the field. Kay holds certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC). Prior experience includes owning and providing essential services through KRM Social Services from May 2007 to November 2008. Kay earned both a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from West Virginia University in the 1970s.
