Noah Jackson

Special Consultant, Auditor, Trainer at Rainforest Alliance

Noah Jackson is a highly experienced professional specializing in community forestry and sustainable agriculture. Currently a Documentary Cinematographer at Out and Back Stories, Noah has significant expertise as a Special Consultant, Auditor, and Trainer with the Rainforest Alliance since 2008. As the Director of Forest Voices from January 2011 to June 2024, Noah focused on preserving the knowledge of forest communities and promoting dialogue through storytelling programs. Prior roles include Farm Manager and Co-Director at SweetRoot Farm, where Noah managed a diverse, sustainable farm for a decade, and serving as a Permaculture Designer. Noah's research as a US Fulbright Scholar involved collaborating with Malaysian communities on agroforestry and conservation. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Forestry from the University of Montana and multiple Bachelor's degrees from Bowdoin College in Anthropology, Environmental Studies, and Biology, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science from Columbia University.
