Sarah – Jane is a Social-Economist with more than 15 years’ experience in international sustainable development working across 25 African countries. She focuses on gender and youth inclusive social economic development programs in natural resource sectors (mining, oil & gas and agricultural industries) across African countries and constantly engages with the public and private sectors, at the community, national, continental, and international levels, navigating relationships between government, companies and communities.
She is currently the Director for Africa at The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC), a global social impact management consultancy which supports businesses and organisations to better understand and demonstrate their impact on people, communities, business and human rights issues. She co-founded the Africa chapter of TSIC in Ghana in 2019 and has since expanded TSIC’s engagements to 20 African countries. As the Principal Consultant, she specialises in increasing impact investment, responsible global supply chains and international sustainability programmes with enhanced standards on gender and racial diversity, equity and inclusion.
