Prior experience includes a tenure at Denver Tent Company from April 1987 to March 1989, also in design and sales, and ownership of The Canvas Shoppe from June 1970 to May 1987, specializing in custom canvas work. Michael Fuhrman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental/Biology from The Ohio State University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Lorain County Community College.
