Zachary Bohnenkamp has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Zachary began their career in 2007 as a Spanish Instructor at Seattle Language Academy LLC, where they taught until 2010. Zachary then joined Washington Academy of Languages as a Spanish Instructor from 2010 to 2013.
In 2013, Zachary transitioned to the gaming industry and joined Keywords Studios as a Localization QA Tester for Iberian Spanish. Zachary later held the positions of Localization QA Test Lead and Localization QA Project Manager from 2014 to 2017.
Next, they joined Experis Game Solutions in 2017 as a Localization QA Program Manager. Zachary then took on the role of QA Program Manager from 2018 to 2020 and Business Intelligence Analyst from 2020 to 2022.
Zachary's most recent role is as a Business Analyst at Raining Virtue Inc., which they started in 2022.
Additionally, they co-founded Matamuros, a Seattle-based mural crew, in 2005. As a co-founder and contributing muralist, they have been involved in numerous mural projects in Seattle and around the world.
Zachary Bohnenkamp has a strong educational background, primarily focused on language and linguistics. Zachary began their education at the University of Iowa, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature in 1998. Zachary then pursued further studies at the University of Washington, where they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Romance Languages, Literature, and Linguistics from 1999 to 2001. Continuing their academic journey, Zachary went on to pursue a higher level of education at the same institution, specializing in Romance Languages, Literature, and Linguistics. Unfortunately, they did not complete their degree, and their status is listed as A.B.D (All But Dissertation). To supplement their education, Zachary also completed a Certificate in Localization: Customizing Software for the World at the University of Washington from 2013 to 2014. Overall, their education demonstrates a passion and dedication to language, literature, and linguistics.
