Alex Y. is a dedicated software engineer with a diverse range of experiences in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Intern at ETHGlobal since April 2024, Alex focuses on building a valuable community within the web3 space. As a Software Engineer at Rainmaker since August 2023, efforts are directed towards enhancing DeFi accessibility through Account Abstraction (ERC-4337). Previous experience includes roles as a Full Stack Engineer at Skinopathy, where data and AI were utilized to improve healthcare outcomes, and as a Developer at UW Blueprint, aimed at making technology more accessible for community builders. Additionally, Alex contributed as a Portfolio Analytics Developer at TD Asset Management Inc. during late 2022. Alex is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, with an education background from Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute.
