TJ (Tom) Cattell, AIC

TJ (Tom) Cattell, AIC has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. TJ (Tom) began their career in 1987 as a Claim Representative for State Farm Insurance. In 1989, they moved to JFCAI/Chesapeake Adjusting Co., where they served as a Branch Manager and General Adjuster. In 2004, TJ became an Independent Contractor for Reid Jones McRorie & Williams. In 2005, they joined Travelers as a Technical Specialist, and in 2007, they moved to Nationwide Insurance as a Sr. Commercial Claims Rep. From 2009 to 2019, TJ worked for Seibels in various roles, including Claims Training Manager, Property Claims Manager/Account Manager, Property Claims Supervisor, and Property Team Leader. In 2019, they joined Enstar Group as a Guidewire 9 Training Coordinator and in 2021, they moved to Mid-America Catastrophe Services as a Sr. Team Leader - Catastrophe Claims. TJ is currently the Director of Underwriting for Rainwalk Technology, a position they have held since 2022.

Tom Cattell received a BS in Management from Virginia Tech between 1982 and 1986. Prior to that, they attended Annandale High School from 1978 to 1982.
