Sean Wallis has extensive work experience in the field of IT development and consulting. Sean started their career in 2010 as a Business IT Support Consultant at Management Performance Ltd, where they quickly established himself as a valuable asset to clients. Sean was promoted in September 2011 and consistently earned the trust and repeat business of clients.
In 2013, Sean joined Network Rail as a Business Systems Developer, where they gained valuable technical knowledge and experience. After five years, they decided to relocate.
Sean then worked at Artificial Industry, where they focused on resolving security and design issues in various projects. After a brief stint, they chose to join Enrise, a self-steering company that allowed him to work alongside talented developers. However, due to office relocation, they eventually left the company.
In 2019, Sean became a Lead Developer at vidaXL, overseeing development teams in China and the Ukraine. Sean was responsible for architecture, quality, and operational processes. After several months, they moved on to their current role at RaiseNow as a Senior Developer. In addition to handling hands-on development, maintenance, and support, Sean also plays a key role in team organization, product owner support, and management assistance.
Throughout their career, Sean has worked with a variety of technologies including PHP, Symfony, Laravel, Node.js, React, Nuxt, and restify. Sean has demonstrated a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and the ability to take on significant responsibilities within growing start-ups and established companies.
Sean Wallis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with Entrepreneurship from the University of Southampton, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications such as the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (IC) from the International Project Management Association in July 2015, and the ITIL v4 Foundation Certificate in Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in March 2015.
